Tuesday

WALT understand odd and even numbers.

Click on the link above, click on multiplication ad division, scroll to the video 'Odd and Even Numbers'.

Remind children that even numbers are multiples of two. They can be divided by 2/shared between 2, and will still have a whole number in 2 equal groups. Odd numbers cannot be shared into 2 equal groups. 

Activity 1 - Using the 100 square, can you colour in the even numbers in one colour and the odd numbers in a different colour.

Activity 2 - complete todays work.

Wednesday 

WALT divide by 5.

Have a go at counting in 5s.

Look at the powerpoint below. Discuss how to make groups of 5. Using any objects you have at home - toys cars, pasta, lego pieces - and make groups of 5 following the slides on the powerpoint.

Activity - choose the challenge that suits you and have a go at the questions.
