Science - it is experiment time!

Last week we had to think and make a prediction about which material would make the best roof for a new home for the Three Little Pigs. Now it is time to have go at testing the materials to find out if our predictions are going to be proven correct.

Here are some pictures which show how to test the materials - you could start with a Lego house that is missing a roof and then you can put the material on top, or you could have a pot where the material is put on top and secured with rubber bands. The pot will catch any water the material let through which you could measure.

Make sure you pour the same amount of water on each material. Did the house stay dry inside?
