What are our Learning Muscles?

Our Learning Muscles are characters who help us remember good learning behaviours so that we can make our brains strong.

Our teachers remind us about the Learning Muscles every day in our learning and encourage us to use them.

We have nine learning muscle characters - each of them has a story explaining how they use that good learning behaviour.

How are children using Learning Muscles celebrated?

When we use our Learning Muscles we can get Learning Muscles stickers. Each week in Celebration Assembly our teachers choose children who have demonstrated use of learning muscles to be celebrated with a certificate. At Christmas, Easter and the end of the Summer Term there is a Celebration Assembly where Mrs Baird gives out Learning Muscles certificates to children who have improved and used their Learning Muscles.
