Below is a letter from the school nurse team with regard to children in reception, year 1, year 2 and year 3 to receive the flu vaccination this year.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th July.

Dear Parents/Carers,

We have now received a level 4 Red weather warning for Monday and Tuesday next week.

We have made the decision that we will open on both days. However, parents can collect their children at 12.15, if they choose to. Nursery and Reception children who leave at this time will still have a school lunch, at their usual time of 11.30.

Unfortunately, those who leave at this time and are in Years 1 and 2 will not have a school lunch. This is because the kitchen does not have enough time to prepare food for an earlier start for all children in the school. We are sorry for this inconvenience.

If your child is staying in school for the whole day, we will ensure they stay as cool as possible and avoid sun exposure.

Please let your child's class teacher know at drop off, either in person or via a note, if you intend to pick up early. You can collect your children early from the usual pick-up points.

Hopefully we will have cooler weather for the last day of term on Wednesday, finishing at 1.15.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING SADLY CANCELLING THE Y2 LEAVERS PERFORMANCE

Dear Parents and Carers, 

It is with great regret that we have decided, for Health and Safety reasons due to the Level 4 Red weather warning, we must cancel the Year 2 Talent Show on Monday evening. 

We are as disappointed as yourselves and as we know the children will be (especially as the rehearsals have been going so very well) but hope you will understand the reason for our decision.

Our sincere hope is that we will be able to catch a cooler moment before the end of term and video the performance for you to watch on YouTube.

COVID symptoms or receiving a positive COVID test during October half term.

Reception Welcome Meeting

You are invited to a 'Reception Welcome Meeting'. There are two sessions to choose from:

Wednesday 13th October at 9.15am or Wednesday 13th October at 6pm.

COVID-19 Reminder

Dear Parents/Carers,

It is absolutely imperative that if your child, or anyone in your household begins to show any symptoms of Covid 19, you must not bring your child to school.

If this should happen, please telephone to inform us as soon as possible so that we can review everyone's safety. Your child (or the symptomatic person) will need to get a COVID-19 PCR test as soon as possible.

In the event that anyone on site begins to show symptoms of the virus, they will be taken to a separate isolation area. Here they will be supported by staff wearing Personal Protective Equipment until they are able to leave. You will be informed as soon as possible if there are any confirmed cases of Covid 19 in school.
