Year 4 - Mechanical systems – Levers and linkages -  Design, make, evaluate a celebration card.

Year 4 built on their Year 1 Sliders and Levers module and at looked and investigated existing levers and linkages. They then designed their own celebration card selecting which mechanism to use, made and evaluated it.

Year 4 - Mechanical systems – Pneumatics  - Design, make and evaluate a moving monster for a Year 1 child

Year 4 investigated and looked at existing mechanical systems that use pneumatics. They learned about how powerful pneumatics can be. They then designed, made and evaluated their moving monster.

Year 4 - Electrical Systems - Simple circuits and switches - Design, make and evaluate a torch with a switch

Year 4 looked at existing features of torches, they then designed their own, made a torch and evaluated it.
