Does gas have mass?

In science, we continue our learning of solids, liquids and gases. We investigated 'does gas have mass'. Using fizzy drinks, we weighed each drink before stirring until flat. We weighed again to see if the drink was lighter.

Mathopoly

We have been practicing our 3's, 6's and 9's by playing a game called Mathopoly. We had a great time.

DT - making our chassis

We have been working hard to make our chassis for a moving car. We tested them on ramps. This week we designed the body for our cars.

Science

This term we are learning all about states of matter - solids, liquids and gas. This week we explored the viscosity of different liquids. The thicker the liquid, the higher the viscosity. We investigated which liquid had the highest viscosity - it was honey and shampoo!
